I have a 1999 kodiak that I am working on I am trying to replace the transfer gear oil, I cannot find the transfer gear drain and fill plugs, the pictures in the service manual are terrible, next to useless. can anyone point me in the right direction?

This is what my Haynes manual says.
The transfer case on 1993 through 1998 models shares a common oil supply with the engine, but has a separate drain plug. 1999 and later kodiak models and grizzly 600 models have an oil drain plug at the rear of the crankcase, as well as an oil strainer screen/drain plug in the bottom center of the crankcase. Grizzly 660 models have a single oil drain plug in the bottom center of the crankcase. It has a photo showing the separate drain plug for the transfer case on 1993 through 1998 models only. Under the photo is say "The transfer case drain plug (93-98 only) is at the lower rear of the case. In the photo you can see a smaller bolt head on both sides and just inside of one bolt is a larger bolt head that is the drain plug. If you have a 1999 then both plugs are on the the crankcase.
