Default 2004 raptor 660r replaceing clutch estimate!! help!!

i just found a 2004 raptor 660r on craigslist he says it needs a new clutch and rear tires.. he said he will take 1350.00 obo for the quad. im wondering if thats a good deal and how muc it would take estimate to replace the clutch.. i really want a raptor and wondering if this is a good buy.. like i said he said he would take 1350 obo for it and i have 1700 right now so is that enough.? get back to me with some info and ur opinion thanks...

that thing looks haggard. you might want to test ride it first, i wont be the first to tell you to be careful on craigs list

what u mean? he said he would take 1485 for it.. i can tell it isnt a scam cause ive been txting the dude all night about it and he lives right by me.. but its it a good deal and how much would it cost to replace the clutch?>

Sounds a little fishy to me, too, but you never know, it's a gamble. What if it's the transmission that's gone? $1700 wiill not buy it and fix it. If it is only the clutch, you're looking at $100 for parts and about $150-200 labor to fix it.

yea.. the dude just bought a house and needs to sell it.. he lives by me and is telling me he knows its just needs new clutch discs a a rear tire.. cause he took it to a dealer to get it looked at so idk ill find out but if its just the plates should i get it>?

Based on all the info, I would buy it if it's just needs the clutch plates and a rear tire. You could have a $2500 bike for less than $1500. I need to find a deal like that.

that looks like it is worth about 500 bucks from those low quality pictures.
