Default Is this jetting right?

Its not really backfiring, It runs great at top end. But it has a low end bog. Theres a few areas where i ride that theres houses, they gave me permission to cut across their yard as long as i dont cause any damage.
When i ride at low rpms at a creep so i dont rip up their grass. It runs like crap. bogs bad. kinda coughs and chokes. but once you get past about 1/4 throuttle it runs great.

Still sounds like it's rich to me. Id adjust that idle screw back down 1/4 turn at a time and see if it clears up. You may want to go back to the stock pilot.

no the kit i bought only came with the 48 pilot. 124,126,130,134,136,140,142,144,146,150,155,165 main jets.
001-main jet adapter.
DNO987-needle

Is there a site you can buy just the jets you would need?

O your dealing with dj jets. They are measured a little different than stock. Stick the stock back in and go out about 2.5 to 3 turns out on the fuel screw and test that out.

At this point I'd just change the pilot. Read your instructions that DJ sent. They should get you close. I was thinking that a 155 was recommended with lid on and the 165 with lid off but, don't remember for sure. Either way I'd do what they suggest. They usually get you pretty close.

stage one with lid on, aftermarket exhaust.
needle on 3rd grove,
134main
048 pilot
mixture screw 1 turn out.

stage 2 with lid off, aftermarket exhaust.
needle on 3rd grove
150 main
048 pilot

Holy monkey and you got a dj165 in there with lid on?? That may be a prob although wouldn't cause low speed issues.
