It also has to be jetted correctly for the pipe so get that jet kit.

Well, since you're not gay, and if you're confident about your manhood, a Raptor 350 would not be a bad choice, and $1800 doesn't sound like a bad deal for one if it's in good shape. Just expect to out-grow it by at least the age of 18. I had one when I was 30 years old, and even though it was modded out, I still got picked on about it by my riding buddies. They called it "my little sister's quad". I'm just trying to warn you what could happen, but you may not have the idiot friends like I have.

I recommend just a slip-on for a 350. If you do the research you will find that the 350's headpipe is over-sized from the factory and you won't gain anything by replacing it. GYTR & Yoshimira are way overpriced, you can't go wrong with an HMF slip-on. They are about $220 from gopartsdirect.com, and IMO it sounds better than a Yoshi or Getter. HMF slip-on, Pro Design filter will do better than the K&N in the sand, and a jet kit will make a noticable increase in power. If you like more top speed, then you can add a 14 tooth front sprocket after the other mods.

It looks ok just remember to test ride before you buy.A friend just bought a 05' raptor 660 DID NOT TEST RIDE it and after riding for a hour the tranny took a crap upon investigation the clutch was screwed up and as he wento shift up all he heard was grinding gears and the tranny was smoking.
