and what do you mean pipes dont make a diffrence on 350s?

The factory head pipe is about the same size as any aftermarket pipe, and flows just as freely. You will gain all of your horsepower from the slip-on, not the headpipe. This pertains only to the Warriors and Raptor 350's, all others will need an aftermarket headpipe to gain the max horsepower.

Yep, just get the slip-on muffler, not the full system or the headpipe. Trust me. I had a Warrior with a fully modded engine, running close to stock 450's, and still had the stock headpipe with a Curtis Sparks slip-on and it worked great. When I switched over to the Raptor 350, the Warrior Curtis Sparks exhaust would not fit the Raptor 350 frame, and Curtis Sparks no longer makes anything for the 350. That's when I got the HMF slip-on and still kept the stock headpipe. The HMF sounded and performed very close to the Curtis Sparks.

I think you may be confused on what a pipe is. On a Raptor 350, the exhaust is in 2 sections - you have the headpipe, which is the tube that comes off of the motor and runs to the back. Then you have the muffler, or "slip-on", that slips-on to the headpipe. The muffler is what you need to buy from HMF, or Yoshimura, or whoever you choose. You would keep the factory pipe that comes from the engine, and the new muffler would slip-on to the factory pipe, giving you a power increase.
You could buy a headpipe & muffler from companies like FMF, or DG, etc.. This would be called a "full system" - you get both pieces of the exhaust. You will not gain any more power on the 350 from a full system than you will with just a slip-on. So what I'm saying is that a full system would be a waste of money for the Raptor 350. But a slip-on would not be a waste of money. You can do what you want to do, I'm just trying to keep you from throwing money away.

Ok I have a daughter that is 14 she own a 350 Raptor. She has been riding from about the age of 8 Started on a dirt bike.
The 350 is a good low geared bike, is very good for rock climbing
9 can't hardley roll it. we go to the dune's all the time, it sometimes has a hard time in soft sand. She has out grown it skill wise. we are looking for a Suzuki 400 or Kaw. 400 for her these have just a tad more power and yet provide room to grow. We also own a 660 raptor and Yfz 450. big diff. between them. )! 660 is cheep because by now they are worn out and have lots of mach. issues. it is a good bike after you chunck about another 3 grand into them. the 450 don't get an 04 due to oil mode needed to keep it from blowing up. they are very fast and take very little to upgrade. So bottom line 350 would be great to learn. fun to play on but skill wise kwa or suz. 400 is best save some more money and get the right choice.
