dude I would buy the 450 over all of them. My 04 450 kills my raptor 700 at anything. No contest. I was up at silverlake sand dunes last weekend and my quad whooped everything at the drap strip except for a heavily moded can-am 450. 450 all the way nothing can touch them.

Obviously you have done nothing to your 700 then [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

I'll take the 700 over any 450 anyday for the type of trail riding I do!

LOL your 450 is either heavily modified or you were avoiding all the other big boys that come out to play at the drags... cuz there is no way a stock 450 would hang with most of the modded machines at silver lake.... I know cuz i ride a modded shee @ silver lake and still get my a$$ handed to me by the big boys.

 

around here most of them 700r's are pups compared to the 450's heck theres a super fast Z 400 floating around the takes just about everything, due to some mods, dont take me wrong the 700 is a nice machine, but most of the 700's are running thoes dual pipes b/c they sound like a lil 4 cly. sound pretty awesome but ive been told by many people that duals loose torque so they have nothing at luanch and once the 450's take off the mods are unleashed and the rappys just cant get back up there before the end

 

i have a buddy who has a 700 and another who has a banshee on a drag the banshee killed him but on a long run the 700 has more top end. in my opinion the 700 is a hog
