hey guys new to the place, i have a 08 wolverine 450 and just bought a warn 2500 lbs winch, but they only make a 1500 mount. did you guys just fab something. i thought about either mounting it upside down or in front of the radiator. any help would be great thanks

 

moose makes a mount for the 3000lb which will work with the 2500. From what i have noticed, all the winches on the market have the exact same bolt pattern so it is an industy wide standard. Anything you buy application specific will work on the wolverine.

 

I just put a 2500lb winch on my 06 wolvy. just make sure you push the mount as high as you can.

 

I just ordered one of these. I cant wait to mount it up.

I got the same mount. like I said make sure you mount it as high as possible. or the winch will hit the front rack when you go to put it back on.

 

I got the mount and winch mounted. Very nice fit. Makes for a very nice install. I agree you want to have that mount up as high as possible. I made that mistake and had to adjust it.

 

do you have any pics i have a 2007 wolverine and want to mount a bigger winch but the warn rt1500 is already a pretty tight fit so i dont know how you can mount it up higer because the warn mount u bolts to the frame and the bottom of the front bumper. so how did you get the 2500 to fit i guess im confused on how you get it to fit up higher?
