Default Need some quick help please

whats up guys....2 years ago i bought a 2002 warrior from a local shop. Needed some cleaning and such but nothing major. I did notice that the rear taillight was missing and ended up buying one off ebay and all was well.....so I thought

the indicator bulbs were out for reverse and neutral and never bothered with it until this week while rebuilding the carb. So I swapped out some new bulbs and reverse works fine but no neutral. Sooo.....start my diag.

With my manual I ended up tracing the wires to the relays in the back and noticed a cut wire harness and no relays!!!!!!

I have a Haynes manual so the info isnt the best but according to this manual the reverse and neutral relays are behind the battery and are next to the rectifier??? We'll I dont see anything!!!! Which confuses me even more if both relays are missing and my harness has been cut and left hanging then why is reverse still working???

would someone be able to snap a pic of what the relays look like and where exactly they are??? maybe a link to a diagram or something.

thanks guys!!!

You can go to sandwizards.com/tips & tricks/service manuals/Warrior to download a wiring diagram. I think the relays are mainly just for safety - you can't crank the engine unless the clutch is in, you can't start the engine without the key on, etc. You really don't need the relays just to run a neutral light. The Warrior wiring can be a real nightmare if you don't know much about wiring - especially if it has been hacked on. It may be easier to wire the light in without the relays. The first thing you need is a wire to the neutral position sensor near the left foot peg on the bottom left side of the engine crankcase. This will give you a ground when the engine is in neutral.

wiring is no big deal....im a 10 year acura tech. the only problem is I want to see what exactly mine is missing. Like i said my taillight was missing.....and now im learning that i could be missing more. the weird thing is the reverse and neutral relays are supposidly right next to each other but i cant find either....and the reverse still works. thats why im asking if someone happens to have a real life pic for me.

i will check out that site thou.....thanks for the advise

http://www.ronniesmailorder.co...aha&year=2000&fveh=934 Not a real life picture, but a microfiche. If you click on electrical1, I think parts # 21 & 22 are the relays you are talking about.
