Big Bear Rear Hydraulic Disc Brakes?
Is there a retrofit kit for attaching hydraulic disc brakes to the rear axle of a 99 Big Bear 350?
I totally dislike the OEM drum brakes.
Honestly, that is the only thing I don't like about the machine.
I would like to put disk brakes on the rear.
Do I have to buy components and engineer the retrofit myself?
Thanks!!!!

I would check out Yamaha-motor.com for Parts and see which year they swapped to Disc brakes... I would then head over to BikeBandit.com and see what the cost would be to whip together something.. I bet it can be done!
I am looking to possibly do this to my Grizzly 450.. swap the rear disc to the rear wetbrake once the parts become available and as long as it isn't crazy expensive.

cadillacdude.....I did not like the full time FWD either so I installed a Warn 424 kit. It made all the difference in the world!!!!! If you like the machine and wan t to keep it, the Warn kit is worth every penny.
crazysteve......I have been looking on ebay for parts and they can be had very cheap. I am certain I can fabricate the mods, just wanted to know if there was something off the shelf that I could buy and save time with. I would like to tuck it inside the rear wheel for protection if possibel.
