yamaha warrior not revving and backfiring
Hello
I have a 2002 yamaha warrior which was always reliable until a few days ago. I went to start it after sitting for a while (2 weeks) and it will not rev at all. It will idle just fine then when i go to rev it it will pop and backfire then when i give it WOT it will stall. i cleaned out the carb, and put new gas in it and the problem is still there. The intake boot is brand new and the spark plug is new also. could it be a stuck valve or maybe electrical? any ideas?
Thanks
Jake

all you have to do is unplug the white connector at the end of the wires coming from the clutch lever and if you want to override the switch while ur down there, its the switch that wont let you start it without the clutch in just unplug the two wires and plug the two wires on the harness together
