Default preload adjustment tool

I just bought a brand new wolverine 350, stock set up is way too light for me, I'm close to 200lbs. Anyway, I dont have that tool, in the manual it says the dealer has them. Can I somehow change it without the tool?

if not, does anybody know who sells these tools, I was searching for close to an hour and nothing

thanks in advance for all your help

I've always done it the "redneck" way on my Wolverine, and other factory adjustable shocks, just a big pair of adjustable pliers, and twist !!!!

You can also use a big screw driver and a rubber hammer to turn the collar..... just be careful and don't rush it......

Take the shocks off put the top side in a vice and push down and twist. Moyion-Pro sells a tool but it sucks and i suggest not buying it!

short answer no..With the Wolverine your are pretty much screwed with aftermarket shocks..Trust me I searched to the ends of the earth with my 03 Wolverine..The only option cost more than the whole damn ATV

I got my Works shocks off an online dealer, and paid 754 bucks for front and back, front dual rate, threaded collar, back single rate spring, threaded collar. the threaded collar added 20 bucks per shock, otherwise, you had to remove the shock and put it in a spring vise to change the preload. eBay has shocks, lots of times for a lot less than new factory ones, depending on what you are looking for.

i paid $4000 grand for my wolvy, the idea of spending 500+ bucks on shocks is a little bit scary... there are tons of nice 2007 2008 yzf shock on ebay, I was hoping they would fit......
