Wolverine engine swap
Got a 2008 Wolverine 450. I love this bike but I need more power. Got to thinking that since a grizzly 660 is a single cylinder auto with shaft drive that it should fit with only a little modifying. The only problem is I'm not familiar enough with these engines to know if there is any major differences or easy access to one to measure it.
Appreciate any information or thoughts anyone has to share

yhea the 488 kit is not a stroker just a very big bore kit, if you stroke it it will make it a 500.
The 660 will be heavier I am sure, you might be able to do it. First off would be making sure that the engine will fit the frame.
after that, i am sure you will be welding new mounts and will need to reinforce the frame(adding more weight.)

also think about your suspention..The Wolverine shocks are...Well known to suck. With a heavier engine. It will add more stress to an already crappy suspention..By the time you mod everything you need to make everything work right..You might as well trade it in for a Renegade 800.. I wish I would have gotten one over this raptor..

To be honest I've no real complaints about the suspension on my bike. I've already accepted that I'll need some upgrades like front shocks, probably front axle shafts and maybe even the front diff. Pretty much everything I drive ends up this way. 90 chevy's had the motor "improved", trans done and solid axle swap underway. Just the way I am
