Unless you just really want to build one, i think getting a renegade would be better. and probably cheaper.

I really want to do this. I could buy a Renegade, but so can the neighbor. Not to likely to see a 660 Wolverine anywhere else. Also kind of attached to solid rear axles. I'll ride an independant when I'm old and worn out.

that's true, independent suspension are great for touring, but if you like sporty ride, solid rear axle is much better even if you have less power, specially on tight trails and hills.

Couldn't agree more, I've never owned an independent machine but I have rode them. Great for soaking up bumps but the handling leaves a little to be desired in my opinion. Besides, like I said, where's the fun in riding a machine that anyone could have when compared to having something unique? Rides gotta be rideable , but it should stand out too.

this project has my vote. if they can squeeze an R1 motor in a raptor im sure this is feasable.
