Looking for any information on the irs big bears good and bad have had a few older ones great motor brakes and u joints that anothter story have a couple Hondas 450s was great 500s was not as good ,this is a work machine lots of mud and off road work

my 99 big bear has no problem with the brakes. mine is front disc. i had to replace the rear drum seal. it was letting water and mud etc in to the drum and the rear would not work. the front drive shaft is ****. on my 3rd set of universals on the back yoke. i need to let the stealership replace them. i have been doing it myself, maybe i am not getting them seated correctly and they are wearing out too fast.

other than those small bugs, mine is great.

edit: mine is a 99 350 big bear single rear suspension. that was the last year for that chassis.
