Ok I know some of you have that 35mm flatslide kit just lying around that you took off the Banshee before you sold it and bought the Raptor. Now get some ***** and slap that setup on your raptor.
I am dying for some one to do it. Make it breathe and it will make big Power. Every company is making filters, pipes, and exhausts why are they so afraid to do it like they did a banshee and just jet one side one size less? The Raptor is limited in two ways compared to say a YZ426. The Raptor is limited to breathing through a couple of EPA legal CV scooter carbs while the YZ426 gets a 39mm Keihin FCR Flat Slide w/Throttle Position Sensor. Also the Raptor has a compression ratio of only 9.2:1. Change this open the exhaust, and hold on. Now we only need to try it. I would hope that CT, Sparks, or Trinity might give it a try first. But those companies are a bit slow. So if you have a setup lying around and know how to jet give it a try whats it going to hurt.

I talked to a guy at Sudco in CA and he said they have a new carb set up coming soon for the raptor for around $500.

May be worth checking into

So Long as they jet it right and its not a piece of junk like the Ron woods DS Carb, Ill pay that much. Ill just have to work back my iron thumb from banshee riding.

instead of only going to a dual 35mm set up witch is only a little bit, why not go with dual 39mm yz426 carbs? now that would be bad ****!!

Did Sudco say if it would be a single or dual carb setup?I dont guess that it really matters as it makes pretty good power. The dual yz426 setup would be sweet though. When did sudco say that something would be out?

I just figured if 35 is about standard, 39 is way wild. They are more expensive too. No way i will pay 800, there is no reason for it to cost $400 more than a banshee setup. Im not sure but 10hp seems a bit much, but i may be right.

Something like that would be my choice, but only if it was not a CV carb and it was equipped with an accelerator pump.
