Airbrushed helmet!!!
#1
I was thinking about getting my helmet airbrushed with a Raptor(the dinasour not the quad" with a 400ex in it's mouth, a DS 650 in one hand. I was thinking about having a 250R in the other hand but I don't think I can disrespect a 250R like that. What quad do you think I should use instead of the 250R. Also do you know where I can get this done without giving my left arm. I was looking around on the net and most places wanted like $400 not including the helmet. Let me know if you guys know any place. Later

I'm not sure about pricing or even a place to get it done.. But I do mess around with airbrushing a bit. A scene like that is time consuming with a lot of detail. You are going to have to provide a new, white helmet for the best results.
If the person doing the job has to prep an already painted helmet...the price will go up for sure...
I have a second helmet that I would like to experiment with. Hopefully I can get to it soon.
Good luck.

I would think that the only thing that might affect the Helmet would be sanding and prep work.
I'm not sure how the different types of paint affect the helmet material.
There must be a proper way though..since most of the pro riders use airbrushed or custom helmets.

A Scrambler of course!!! but instead of being in the other hand get'em to put it under the Raptor's @SS getting **** on...or better yet get the 400ex in the mouth and the scrambler coming out the @ss with verbage like...
"Eat'n 400ex's ,sh!tt'n scrambler's" that would be cool

Theres a sign shop here locally that does alot of custom painted helmets. He has done alot of sprint car, motorcross, and even NASCAR helmets. The worse thing is, it is costly, and like the others said, he insists on starting with a solid colored, new helmet. I will add, he is very good!!
