i installed one of the ricky stator pick up coils and the os no spark at all how would i check the coil this problem started only when it go hot it wouldnt restart i spliced in the new stator with heat shrink connectors

 

First, check the orange wire at the coil for a pulsing current while turning the engine over. If you've got a pulse there and a good ground your coil and/or plug wire has gone awry.

 

ill check it out i did go back and measure out the new pick up coil and if i am reading it right i see a 270 ohms
