Default blaster problem

There are two types of switches, normally open and normally closed. you must first determine that the switch is in the RUN position(I aint bein a smartass, I have had the switch in the OFF mode before and troubleshot the heck out of my bike before I noticed it!). Using a normal mutli-meter, in the continuity mode, check the two wires with the switch in run and then in off, and make sure one is open and one is closed. Your multi-meter will make a tone when you have continuity.

If you get a tone in one position and not the other, 90% says that your switch is good.

If that fails, get yourself a shop service manual, I am sure you can download somewhere online, and trouble shoot it using the book.

Sorry, that is about the only advice I can give you on that one.

Good Luck!
John
