Of course I'm partial to the Raptors, but I will say in my experiences the Raptor is more reliable than the Predator. We have only had 2 guys in our group that bought Predators, and seems like everytime they went riding with us their day was cut short by mechanical problems - usually premature axle bearing failure and I remember one instance of a stripped-out rear wheel hub. I'm not saying that Raptors don't break, but I would rather have a POS Yamaha than a POS Polaris.

Yeah, we have a Pred at the house and it has been nothing but problems since day one--and it has been well maintained. It even just recently broke a valve and ruined the cylinder, head, piston, and bent the crank. And that is a well maintained and properly taken care of machine. Some of the rest of my group rides Polaris utilities and it seems like they break something on every single day out to ride. Not always something to end the ride, but something to fix on top of maintenance nonetheless. That just doesn't happen on a Yamaha...or most others for that matter. I can ride the heck out of my Warrior one weekend, and I mean give it everything its got, and all I have to do before my next ride is a little lube and grease here and there and check the valve clearances every once in a while.
