Hey....I was wanting to get blue headlights for my raptor and then put some sort of strobe light on it. I looked at the website Autotoys car audio and they have bulb covers but it is for H4 9003 type bulbs. My question is what type of bulb is the raptors and will this fit it? another question...... where can I buy a delay switch or something where I can put a toggle switch on the handlebars and flip on the strobes? I was wanting something like the cops where it flickers twice on one side then twice on the other. Tell me that wouldn't be cool.

AustinL911,

I wanted to do the same thing with the strobe kit. If you do it, let me know how it works.

Thanks,

I think I found the strobe kit that I'm going to put on it. I found it on Jegs website. It is about $45 and can be purchased at Jegs.com. once your there....go to the first keyword box to type in an item #. type in 034-50.6006 and there is the strobe kit. It comes with lights, power box, + and - leads. It also comes with 2 covers of each of these colors: red, blue, green, yellow, and purple. now all I need is a cool switch to put on the handlebars. I was wanting to use the stock light switch only rewire it somehow. I was wanting to......when you put in on the low beam setting-it turn the lights on high....and when you put it on the high beam setting- it flip on the strobes.....and get rid of low beams all together. I never use them anyway.

that kit in jegs is expensive, order the ones from jc whitney that are sealed [blue]STROBES[/blue] and mount them to the frame, they come in a few color choices. those in jegs are made to drill into and mount inside the headlight, they tend to not last very long and you can get the same kind cheaper from autotoys they are the Hi Per brand. any walmart toggle switch will work fine.

I'm probably going to look around because I want strobes that are inside the existing headlight. I don't want to have to mount it on the frame. thanks for the advise though. I was wanting a toggle switch like the military uses. the kind that have the flip up top.....then the toggle switch is underneath.

I think what you are wanting is referred to as wig-wag lights. Do a search, you should come up with plenty info.
