gytr kick starter kit yfz 450

I just installed this kit on an 04 and the kick starter hits the rear fender. Does anybody know something I dont? It's not bent the fender or bracket.

Most people will cut the rear fender out to fit. In fact, some aftermarket plastic is formed differently to give your foot more room to operate the kick starter.
