Default 2001 yamaha wolverine 350 coughing at idle

she runs good at high rpms (might still be coughing but i cant hear or feel it). At idle she idles for for about 8 seconds, coughs, idles fine for about 8 more seconds, coughs... and then usually dies. if its choked or revved up higher than idle she doesnt die. I tore apart the card and cleaned it with carb cleaner, as well i sprayed cleaner though while running it (with the filter off, so its not that). And it still coughs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks alot

Zack

sounds like a clogged pilot jet. locate the pilot, note how many turns it is in or out. remove, clean, and reinstall the same #of turns in/out as was noted.

the symptoms are common for a clogged pilot jet.

hope this helps you
