I own a beatiful 08 big bear garage ornament if any one would like it for there tree
bought it in march rode 3 times first oil change. more metal in oil than oil.
dealer had it 2 months pulling and rebuilding motor not shimmed main gear. got it back rode the first time tonigh to play in snow. rode 20 minutes muffler glowing candy apple red at motor. tried to make it home died will not start back on the phone with yamaha[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img]

Yowsa . I hope you get exactly what you thought you bought with a Big Bear 400 2008 or any Yamaha for that matter . Hopefully you get supported by Yamaha itself if this new Bear is that bad .

We really like ours and so far it chews smooth . Sorry yours did not work . That sucks .

mine has NEVER failed to fire up. 110 degrees or 20 degrees she has screamed to life every time i have pushed that start button.

 

i just purchased a new 09 big bear and 08 raptor 350 a few days ago and its been around 0 degrees everyday and both machines have fired right up and ran good all day. i love the big bear its a mean machine.
