All of the things people change on their quads are all top notch on the KTMs. There is no need to change a single thing.

The oulaws and the KTMs have the same motor. KTM's is more finely tuned so it will out perform the Polaris. The fastest stock quad right now is the 525XC from KTM. All of their top speeds are pretty close but the acceleration on the 525 is amazing.

Top speed is arguable because of government regulations. The government won't allow a stock ATV to go above 75 or so. The motors are capable of so much more. So what it really boils down to is which quad can get to top speed first. That is the KTM525.

In the 450 class, I would say Yamaha.(that's hard for a Honda guy) Yamaha just came out with their YFZ450R that is setup for track. However they still have the base model. It has dual over head cams compared to the others single. The Suzuki LT-R450 is set up just like the YFZ450R. It is 50" wide with 18" rears, once again set up for the track. The Honda would be my #2 pick. It has great power the whole way through the power band and it's a Honda. They last forever. The KFX450 is the slowest of all the 450s but it is geared for acceleration. It has one of the best acceleration but lowest top speed. The Kawi also has reverse.

Stoick vs. Stock I would say the YFZ450 is the best all around.(I'm sorry Honda Gods)

Hands down the KTM, I know the 525 has it. I'm pretty sure the 450 does as well.
