dseater,
Xtreme165 is pointing me your way. I have a BG full exhaust with proflow lid on and ign. advance running 165/170 mains and it just doesn't like the higher rpms AT ALL!. It coughs and cuts out big time. The plug was real white and would cut out alot more with the lid off but with the lid on it isn't as bad(plug color and coughing) but it still had no power in the upper rpms and seems to be running lean. I know very little about jetting --I just ride. It was running good with the slip-on, pro-flow,ign advance @ 150/155. I put the headerpipe on and rejetted it to 160/165 and it started that coughing $hit, I then tried to rejet to 165/170 and it was still not running good at all. The lower RPMs seem to be OK. The upper RPMs have no power and keep coughing and cutting out. Hook a brother up!!!
