hey guys just bought a blaster in great condition. problem is, is that it has no headlight... now i know its an old bike but i thought all blasters came with a headlight. The guy before me had completely rebuilt the bike and now i cant seem to figure out how to even wire up a headlight. Can anyone tell me what i need to install one?

I don't know the exact year but they had a head light that sat on top of the hood in the earlier years. I believe there is just one or two bolts that hold the bracket on, the newer ones had a recessed light in the hood. I believe they bolted on right by the voltage regulator in front of the handle bars.

 

the headlight bolts onto the handlebar mount . you need the bracket and light with wires. you can mount it anywhere you want. i mounted mine on the hood . i bought a light kit for a car from walmart for $15. it comes with brackets and wires. very easy to do. i believe the blaster wires are black and white. they can be found under the hood. good luck
