Just purchased a 06 raptor 700, all stock, except spark arestor/baffle is missing, runs ok, but idles to fast, and idle screw doesn't make any difference, Any ideas?

Check to see if there is a programer on the engine managment system (computer) if so remove it (the progamer not the computer) then we will go from there.

Maybe something in the carb is stuck? I doubt it because you say it runs OK. Does it seem to be running rich? Signs of this are bogging down, lots of black ash/carbon in the exhaust, and very gassy smell as if it is flooded. Ask the previous owner if he messed with the carb at all.

Not to ruin your day but the 700 is EFI! So no carbs!
