Default Timberwolf sounds

i own a 1994 yamaha timberwolf, and i got it professionally serviced by a local dealer around a year ago, ever since i got it back it sounds like the engine is a little noisy. When its running, it sounds like it "clicks" idling, and then the clicking speeds up when it's revved. I put a new exhaust on it and the noise got a little better, but it dont know if it's something to do with the piston or something caught in the cylinder. It hasn't given me any problems and hasn't seemed like it is lacking power, but im selling it and dont know if that sound is regular for older atv's like mine or if i need to get into the engine and do some work. any help would be appreciated...thanx

It hapened to me a couple of years ago with my old Timberwolf 96. It was the camshaft and the camshaft bearing. They were worn. They changed it, and problem solved, maybe you have the same problem...

Sounds like valvetrain noise, normally just the rocker arms hitting the valve springs. Some motors make more noise than others in this regard, but it may not hurt to check your valve adjustments just to be sure they are ok.
