What purpose do they serve besides weight reduction? Do they require a new clutch lever on my warrior? Will it make it roll easier? Will it make the clutch pull in easier since the whole parking brake is gone?

they basically just take a little weight off your quad. my parking brake quit working after not to long of having my quad anyways so i just got the kit. i like not having the big parking break lever on the handle bars and just having a regular clutch lever and perch off a dirtbike.

The main reason I removed this tthing was because I had received a really bad gash in my forearm from the sharp edged lever when I took a hard hit when riding, nearly going over the bars. My forearm hit this lever, so I just removed the entire system, cable and all, keeping the original perch & clutch lever. It did not make the pull any easier as far as I could tell. The Warrior just has a stiff clutch. On my new Raptor, the pull is way easier in spite of using the same parking brake system.

If your parkbrake was rubbing then your bike will roll easier once you take it off the bike, There is a supposed heat dissipation increase to the new plate, Your park-brake rev limiter will be disabled, and your bike will be around 1/2 lbs lighter... I removed mine because it was always needing adjusting and I never really used it. I didnt bother purchasing a new plate though, just pulled everything off and filled the hole in the brake caliper with silicone.
