Default Dirty Carb

Went riding sat, and have a buddy that has a 06 wolverine 450. The bike quit running. It would idle but not run. We figured that something got in the carb. This is the second time this has happened to him. The first time the stealership took him for 150.00. This time I took it apart, and he is getting dirt in the bowl. He has a fuel filter on the fuel line. My question is "Are there any parts in the carb that could be falling apart causing this debris in the bowl and eventually in the jets. We cleaned it out and put it back together and runs great. I just cant believe that dirt is getting by the filter. We did change the filter as well. Any ideas?

Default Dirty Carb

some little particles of "dirt" can be dryed gas if you dont run carb cleaner regularly, or run the bowl dry for starage. new filter and chunk of fuel hose that runs from the filter to carb. and clean it yourself! $150 is horribal....
