Default Yamaha Grizzly 600 loud whine in front end arms

Yamaha's are well known to have problems with squeaky brakes. Try putting it up in the air and taking the wheels off. The brakes would still squeak, but if it is the bearings you might see a change with the weight off them.

Default Yamaha Grizzly 600 loud whine in front end arms

when I got home today I sprayed some wd40 on the inside of each of my front tires and the whine is GONE!! As for the back brake drum, I am going to read my repair manual and find out tonight before I go to bed. I still say that I do not remember any ring in the back brake drum. I will let you know tomorrow Muddyweekends.

Default Yamaha Grizzly 600 loud whine in front end arms

The only ring on the rear brake drum that I saw was the waterproof seal on the inside of the brake drum. Hope this helps.
