Thanks for the info! I guess I'll try my best to get a raptor 700 or if I cant find one for a good price then I'll just buy a new 400ex and not even have to worry about it being abused. Everybody has been VERY helpful! I guess now all I have to do is figure out what to get the wife. She for some reason got in the mood to buy an atv when she saw the Polaris RZR S, but I decide we might as well buy 2 four wheelers and a trailer and almost another car for the price of one of those things! So ladies and gentlemen, what would you say would be a perfect four wheeler for a begginner? A honda 250?</end quote></div>

Yeah I would say a 250x is a great beginner ATV... It has a dual sport clutch (auto clutch or manual) so she can learn both ways.... And you cannot beat the reliability of it....... Actually any of the 250cc machines are great for beginners.... they have just enough performance to keep the user excited and give them the skills they need to eventually jump up to something bigger.....

Ya I think thats what I'll try to get her, except there is NOOOOOO way I'm getting her anything bigger! God help anybody who would dare ride within a quarter mile radius of her with the way she drives a car!

Ok, then that brings me to my next question. What are the differences between the 660 and 700? Are there any articles or anything like that on the differences?

My thinking is that since its freaking cold as christmas for a couple of more months that maybe by April I will get one so I'm thinking that the prices might go down a few hundred more dollars on say maybe an 07 raptor or something similar.</end quote></div>

I sold my 03 raptor 660 and then bought a brand new 07 Raptor 700r SE for $4500 BRAND NEW. So there are deals out there you just have to be patient. Somebody always gets in a bind and needs to sell cheap and fast. But anyways my new raptor is designed sooooooo much better than the 660. EFI is the main thing that got my attention also the tippy problem is extinct in the 700.

Thats a great deal! I saw a brand new gtyr edition raptor 700 for sell on ebay for 4600 but of course I gotta wait! But I would really like the se edition since it has the piggyback front shocks. It would be really nice if Obama gave me 600 dollars like we got last year! But I'm definately keeping my eyes open and looking everywhere (craigslist, ebay, powersportsnetwork, local dealership websites) which I've had very good luck the dealership used vehicle section of their websites. I got a Yamaha Vstar 1300 brand new last year for about 40% of the sticker price! So I'm sure some dealerships do the same thing with atv's. Thanks for the help buddy!
