dont know what 700 to buy?
this is what i use my raptor 700 for 99% of the time and i love it. some want to say that the 700xx is better for desert but i dont think so. the only reason they win the baja style races is because honda is the only maker that offers good pit support down there.

The most notable things between the 700 and 450 are...
1.) Power - Either will have plenty of power for you its about delivering it between the two. 450 is race engineered. It wants to rev to make power. It is a go go go machine. The 700 is a big bore that don't mind lugging around. It makes plenty of power at low rpm's. Not that the 450 is weak at low rpm's it just likes to rev.
2.) Design - As stated the 450 is race engineered and feels that way. It's light weight and can be thrown around. You can force it into power slides and yank it around in the air. It just feels like a race vehicle. Problem with that is some don't feel as comfortable with it as they do the 700. The 700 is comfortable at any pace. You don't have to rev it up and get sick with it when climbing a 15 ft incline. You can just sit back and let the big bore do what it wants to do.
3.) YOU - Some like it hot and some like it cold. Some want to ride hard (450) some want to have the quad do more of the work (700). Nobody can decide but, you. It sucks you can't get seat time. That's the only way to make the right decision because, only you can make the right decision.
