Here's a free cam mod that will improve top end performance! It's a little technical, but is worth it and it's not too hard(link is below). You will need a torque wrench and a 15 mm hex head socket. While you have the valve cover is off, it would be a good time to check the Valve lash clearance. Have you changed your oil and cleaned your air filter? I am coming off a engine rebuild that cost about $1400, and I did all the labor except for splitting the case and installing the new crank. Even if you use $8 synthetic oil, every 3rd or fourth tank of gas, it is CHEAP insurance compared to rebuilding your engine! Remember your YFZ IS a racing quad, and it's engine is engineered to have high performance, so YOU MUST maintain it as such!
