battery replacement / 06 grizz 660
#1
hey fellas, i need a new battery for the grizz. All the ones im finding for it has the cell acid/h2o pack that i have to put in the battery. I was just looking for a battery already assembled. Should i just get the battery where i add the cell? Or should i keep looking for a sealed battery? Or are all atv batteries the same, where i add the cell?
Tthanks,
Rob

Have you checked somewhere like carquest for the battery.. Be careful with the battery you buy.. I have a friend at the parts pept at yamaha that told me they recently had a recall on bad batteries.. good luck

Most local auto parts stores (along with big box stores like wal-mart and such) carry "AGM" batteries, gel batteries that need a charge but are otherwise ready to go out of the box.
AGM is a type of battery, not a brand. There are many different brands placed on these such batteries.

Funny I just had to replace my battery on the Griz. I would not put anything in other than YUASA, they sell high perforamce batteries which is what I got and they are OEM, My Griz sat outside for years before I owned it and im just replacing the original now, not bad for a 6 year old quad especially in the cold climates.
