I have a 01 yamaha wolverine 4x4 350 and on the side of the motor, there is a increase, decrease ****. Does anyone know what that's for? Also what is the best oil to use in this 4 wheeler? Does anyone know how to adjust a jetted carb? I just bought the bike an im not familiar with it, so sorry for all the questions. one more question and i will leave you alone lol. Cn anyone tell me how to adjust the shift linkage so it isnt so sloppy? Thanks for any help you provide. Ride safe and play hard.

that **** is prolly a fuel enrichner screw, the oil to use for those are JASO approved motorcycle oils, yamalube would work fine, just dont use car motor oils or anything, make sure its motorcycle specific oil,to adjust a carb you can raise and lower the needle, change out your jets, idle screw and fuel enrichner screw are all ways to rich/lean out your mixture, the shift linkage on those im not sure if there the same as warriors but they have a little ball joint if its worn out that could be your problem.

The increase/decrease **** is for the auto clutch freeplay. IIRC, you loosen the locknut, turn the screw clockwise until it begins to tighten, then back it off a quarter turn, retighten locknut.

Getting an owners manual would be a good thing, it would answer many of your questions.

You can pick up a manual (in PDF) at Yamaha's site:

Yamaha Manuals

ps. If you don't see your Wolvy listed, try the Sport tab. That's where they list the '06 and up models.
