Default 2003 Grizzly

anyone got any idea what a diode is?? will that cause it not to get spark??? im not getting spark checked all fuse swaped coil of running bike. swapped computer etc.... i have a bad starter relay but i can jump it with a screw drive will it still have spark with jumping it with screwdriver?????????????

Diode is basically an electrical check valve, only lets current flow one way, there are many types. This should not cause a no spark condition. Have you changed or checked the coil? a starter relay has nothing to do with the spark. Make sure the shut-off switch is in the crank position, you wouldn't believe how many people still try to start in the off position.

HEY THANKS FOR THE REPLY I TRIED EVERYTHING... I GOT HOME TODAY WITH FRESH MIND AND WENT THROUGH THE SERVICE MANUEL, AND FOUND THAT IT IS THE DIODE IT WILL CAUSE A NO SPARK CONDITION...MAYBE WE CAN ALL LEARN FROM THIS..INSTALLED NEW DIODE AND GOT SPARK!!!
