Default Reverse Light Blinking

My buddy has a 2005 yamaha wolverine, the reverse light is blinking when it hits around 45 mph and acts like it defuels and will not run right unless it sits for about 5 min and will repeat again and again. Any ideas????

I have cleaned the carb in and out, backwards and forwards. Is this a computer problem?

Default Reverse Light Blinking

I know on the Grizz 660's the reverse light blinks when the engine is running on the rev limiter(also tends to foul plugs) I don't know much about the wolverines, but sounds like the clutches on the belts may not be functioning properly??? My grizzly does something similar when the belt drive gets full of dirt and such... just an idea.
