Heres a list of stuff you might want to try.....
New plug (might not be a strong spark)
Fresh gas
You said it has good compression. Is that by a gauge or you guessing?
Idle fuel mixture screw should be 2 turns out
Clean your carb again and double check your idle jet
Clean your choke real well too
Hope this helps.

Fuel petcock is working theres fuel flowing. yes the switch was on lol. I didn't check the valve clearance. .</end quote></div>
Just have to check, it does come up around here from time to time, lol.
Anyhow, take that new carb apart and be sure all the jets are clean and that the choke and air/fuel mixture screw are both working properly. If that a/f screw has been tightened too much this could happen. I would also check the timing as previously mentioned, could have a loose timing chain and have jumped a few teeth.
