i got a 95 blaster and it rode fine the first day the next day i started it rode around the block and it wont start all it does is backfire i changed the spark plug and it still wouldnt start so i pull started it and it started but when i stopped and held in the clutch it stalled and it does the same thing someone please help

 

ck your spark arrester..maybe somthing clogged in exahust and or ck the fly wheel compaired to the pistons tdc point iv had one back fire and sheer a key 7-10 deg. just enought for it to back fire and not run or like anyhitng clean the carb. at the worst hopefully the carb was not varnished up and leaned it out when rideing the day b4 for giggles ck the compression...if not guage just put finger on the plug hole and fell it if theirs alot will blow finger of hole or if not enough wil barley feel any air : make sure the on off switch is off...lol

 

Have you tried to fix it by doing anything other than a new plug?

 

yea i cleaned the carburetor nd i just got a new transmission it in and new reed and new air filter
