It's the wire that feeds power to any thing that needs power while running, like the battery.

mm off he top of my head im not sure, somewhere in the wiring harness you should be able to find where it would plug in, what kinda wire is it? 3 prong 4 prong or is it like a male and female type connector(shaped like a pill and plug into eachother)

Red feeds power to the CDI and battery, brown would feed power to the acc. White wires come from the stator, like an alternator on a car. Rectifier turns the power to DC, there should be a fuse block between the rectifier and the battery connected at the starter soleniod. Hope this helps figure things out.

so the red wire connects to the fuse before the positive wire is connected to the battery?
red wire== [fuse]== [+ battery -]
or
==[fuse]==red wire==[ + battery -]
hope i didn't do it too confusing.

The wire on the warrior here has the fuse block running to the power wire to the soleniod. There a heavy red wire is then connected to the battery. I do believe the fuse block ties in to the harness wire feed by the rectifier.
rectifier--fuse block---battery positive cable. in that order hope that helps you out.

ok, that might have fixed the part about the battery draining, but now i think the starter coil is broken because the engine wont crank
