hey, so i just bought this, its muffler is riddled with holes, on the size of a deck of cards(that one was patched the patch just blew today thats why im posting). couple questions, its back firering like crazy and i have no power at all, couldnt even drive up the ramps to get it in my truck. is this most likly why?. also is it worth going threw the trouble of patching the wholes and if so wats the best way or should i just get a new muffler? i looked and unless im wrong the stock muffler for this is like 240ish and if thats the case ill just go after market. wat should i be looking for for an aftermarket muffler for this? i really would like to stay as low as possible on price for this fix cause i just bought a 2500 pound winch, the 2 wheel drive selector kit, and new tires and rims. its a 350 4x4 by the way. thanks all.

is this just on the muffler or the headpipe also? if theres holes near the headpipe then yea that can make it run real bad, its not worth trying to fix beat up pipes, specially since its prolly rusted and the metal is prolly alot thinner then it was when new, i would check ebay for some used pipes, might as well get an aftermarket pipe since OEM pipes usually are just a tad bit cheaper then aftermarket ones, and the aftermarket pipes are lighter, better sounding, better looking, more power, and usually more durable, HMF and FMF have a slip on and a header for pretty cheap, but there may also be others.
