are there 2 different kinds of warrior?

i've looked at some different parts sites and some times under the warrior section i see these listed for the warrior ---> YMF350XP and YMF350XPC
are there 2 different warriors, if yes
how can i tell which i have?
and what are the differences?

There is not really a difference. The XPC is for California. It probably has some special emissions stuff on it for California's emission regluations. I'm not sure if you would be able to even tell the difference if you were looking. Probably, the only way to tell if yours was from California would be to give the VIN to your local dealer.

I have seen multiple designations on actual factory call numbers before. For instance you will sometimes see Kawasaki list the KFX400 as the KFS400 and they are the same vehicle. The "S" was supposedly to designate that Suzuki made it, but who knows.
The only thing you need to really worry about is that Yamaha also made a "Warrior" street bike, so as long as it is the Warrior ATV you don't need to worry about it.
The Warrior ATV was pretty much the same for 18 years.....

yes, i wish they wouldn't have done that. i really hate looking through
street bike stuff while googleing and looking for parts/mods that i wish my wife would let me spend money on
