Default 02 yamaha warrior

my carb just recently started leaking fuel from the vent hose and i cant figure out why and it dies out with the engine vent hose connected to the air box when it is unplugged it runs OK any ideas?

Sounds like the carb float may be sticking alowing fuel to fill the bowl up with too much gas and then pouring out the vent tube. Also may some junk in the needle and seat so it can't close off. I would tear it off and get a good rebuil kit and redo the carb and look at the float and the needle and seat.

My 03 just did the same thing. Just pull the carb and clean the bowl and needle and seat. Should be good to go. No need for a full carb rebuild.
