According to Alba the SST pipes are better than the regular Fattys in a stock banshee engine because it produces more back pressure. But once the engine is modified, the Fattys will perform better.

Well i talked to John Stallworth and he has a shootout coming up very soon with the results to be posted to his web site. There are too many determining factors for the average person to assume which pipe is best. Ground conditions, tires, if it's properly jetted, the weight of the rider, how they shift and so on and so forth. He will be doing a test of DMC, SST, T-5's, LRD's, and Pro Circuits. This will not be a dyno test. Dyno's will tell you how fast the quad can spin a drum. There is a different machine that he will be using(can't remember the name of it though). I believe he told me that it measures how fast after adding the pipes the quad is propelled into forward motion, he claims that this machine will truly tell which pipes benefit the quad the most. Don't know when the test will be done though. www.powerplaygroundracing.com
He must know what he's doing or he wouldn't be winning at Pikes Peak.
