What yall fussing about? they still make banshees in Canada. 2009 models are pretty ill i've heard. If you don't believe me, Youtube 2009 banshee.


I sure hope USA comes up with another 2-stroke quad though. Even the little Blasters are awesome for 200cc's especially modded ones!

that sucks, 2 strokes are sweet! that's a bad decision on Yamaha's part!

They have the technology to make a 2 stroke as clean or cleaner than a 4 stroke. The problem is not technology, it's cost analysis. EFI 2 strokes would cost more than a 4 stroke EFI, as they'd have to start a whole new set of building designs and service standards.... The actual parts could be made and dealt with fairly cheap, but to market and provide tech support would require some different stuff that would be very costly.

Pray they figure it out. I love my 2 strokes.

They should just borrow the technology that BRP got with Evinrude. It is already mainstream in 2 strokes.
