Default Grizzly Sputtering... Electrical?

My wifes 660 2006 Grizzly took a dip in some fairly deep water/mud, This was May long weekend, Now it's sputtering at about 48km/hr in high and 29km/hr in low. We've taken out on easy trails twice and I've checked some electrical but I can't figure it. It seems to be electrical since it is so consitent, whether hot or cold it will do this, It's like the rev limiter for reverse. Any specific ideas?

You may have sucked up some water thru the carb vent tube. Drop and drain the carb float bowl and change the fuel filter. Check the vent tube for blockage.

I thought of that, due to my wolverine being really bad for that but I don't think it would be such a consitent speed that it sputters at. I think it would vary more

Have you checked the rev limiter? It sounds like some kind of problem with that maybe.

I've checked the rev limiter. I was really hoping that was it, but turns out not . I pulled off the wire from sensor and grounded it out no luck. I'm wondering if it is possible the float may be stuck in the carb? It doesn't seem likely but I'm running out of Ideas. What would a roll over cause? Nothing is wrecked not even a scratch.... frustration!

There are times that the rev limiter kicks in. Maybe something is out of place making the quad thinks it needs to limit the revs. I have tried to shift to 4x4 or diff lock while moving and have caused the rev limiter to kick in. Also going in reverse. Maybe something is out of place or the computer thinks it is. Could it be diff locked? Could there be something amiss that makes it think it is in difflock? Disconnected wire or something broken?
