Default fuel mixture screw

just got an 88 warrior 350. i was wondering how the fuel mixture screw should be adjusted. i have heard 2.5 turns out, but it didn't want to idle. i have it four turns out right now and it seems to be running good. does anyone know what the correct adjustment is?

The circut is clogged, clean the carb and it will run at the proper 2 1/4 - 2 1/2 turns.
