Default Another warrior starting problem

I am lost on my 87 warrior, if I turn the key on and put the power right to the starter I get spark. If I put power to the battery cables nothing happens. Any idea on what could be wrong? When I got the bike many wires were cut, but I replaced almost everything, there is a relay that has been cut off. I think it's the reverse switch relay, but the bike has started and ran without it. I'm in the dark.

Is the fuse good? Have you done a volt test with a meter at the battery? This will help you trace any bad spots in the wiring.
