just trying to find a way to lower body on raptor without spending big $$$ on aftermarket shocks,i know the warrior shocks are 2" shorter and should bolt up, then lower rear shock to level. don't know if shock travel will be a problem, any ideas or input???

I read a post on another forum where this raptor owner from Australia took the linkage on the rear and turned it around and liked the ride height. I was thinking about lowering mine for ice racing so i thought I'd check it out. I tried it by taking the part that the bottom of the shock mounts to and flipping it over (leave the rod on that goes to the frame and just flip that also) and remounting it. It lowered the rear about 2". I took the front shocks and put them to the lowest setting and it acts like it sets quite level. I have'nt had a chance to ride it, but looks like it would be great for ice or flattracking. It does put more vitals closer to the ground, but if your not jumping doubles or anything it might be fine. Just a thought for ya.
